Something for Everyone (Small Business Saturday)
Small Business Saturday is here!
It's no secret that many small businesses across the country have been negatively impacted by the pandemic. As you do your holiday shopping this year (buying for yourself totally counts!), I hope you'll consider purchasing from a small business.
I’ve pulled together a list of small businesses who fall into one (or more) of the following categories:
I've made purchases with them.
I've used their services.
I know them personally or I have been following them long enough, and I see their passion, their purpose and the quality of the product or service they deliver.
All of these businesses/creators/writers/mentors, etc. are either Black-owned or women-owned small businesses who have created a product I love or have inspired me in some way (whether they knew it or not) to keep going despite the challenges this year has delivered.
Even if you can’t make purchases at this time, I hope you’ll consider other ways to support these business owners. Following on social media, liking and commenting on posts, and sharing their business with others makes a huge difference!
