Hello Families!

I’m thrilled to be returning to MCPC to photograph your child! I’ve taken thousands of school portraits around the Bay Area, and if my math is correct, this will be my sixth year as the school photographer at MCPC. My daughter, now 18, also attended MCPC years ago, so it’s always a special treat for me to come back to this community.

With a calm approach and over 20 years of experience working with young children, I aim to keep photo day relaxed and easy for everyone, especially the kids.

My goal is to capture portraits that reflect your child’s personality in an authentic way. Sometimes that looks like a natural smile; other times, a quieter, more serious expression. Both are beautiful, and both honor who your child is in that moment.

Below are some tips and FAQs to help you prepare.

What should my child wear?

Choose comfortable, clean and wrinkle-free clothing. Your child will be most at ease in clothing that is familiar. Avoid shirts with large graphics or logos, and avoid wearing neon (it can cast awkward colors on skin). Solid colors or small prints work well.

If your child wears glasses, non-reflective lenses photograph best.

How quickly will photos be available?

Photos will be ready for previewing within 7-10 days.

How do I view my child’s image proofs?

Your email is collected below so that a private online gallery of your child’s images can be shared with you.

How do I order prints or digital images?

You’ll have the option of purchasing prints or digital images directly through your online gallery and you’ll only purchase the images you love. A la carte and package options will be available.

What if my child is absent?

I will do my best to coordinate a time with MCPC to see about returning before the end of the school year, but there is no guarantee that we will be able to make this happen.
