Family life can be crazy and chaotic. It is also beautiful and sweet.

As a mom of two, I know what family life is all about. I believe there is so much beauty hidden in between all of the crazy and all of the sweet.

I also believe that parents need to exist IN photos with their kids.

That's where I come in.

Signature FAMILY Sessions

Missing front teeth. Little hands wrapped tightly around yours. Running fingers through your babies curly locks. Watching them race at full speed into your spouse's arms. These small, ordinary details tell your family story and celebrate the season of parenthood and childhood you are currently navigating. Let go of perfection and embrace the crazy along with me during your photo session where connection with each other is all that matters. Let the kids be kids (don't worry, I can handle it!), be present, be yourself, and be IN the family photos.

Signature Family Sessions last up to two hours and include my commitment and attention to your session from the planning consultation to the final delivery of your images. To learn more, click here for our Family Sessions magazine.

How do we book?

Start by filling out this form. A signed agreement and non-refundable retainer of $300 is required to confirm your session on the calendar.

Do you have suggestions on where to meet?

The info you share on the questionnaire about what you like to do together as a family, what you envision for your session, and the ages of the kids helps me determine the best spot for us to meet for your session. I have lots of ideas to share, so don't worry if you're not sure.

What should we wear?

You'll receive my studio magazine which includes tips on what to wear. HINT: keeping everyone comfortable is key!

When will our viewing gallery be ready?

Your online viewing gallery will be available within 2-3 weeks after your session date.

How long will we have to view our gallery?

You will have 7 days to review your images, make selections, and add on to your package.

What if my child doesn't cooperate?

I don't just enjoy working with kids; I get them. I was a teacher for ten years and have a degree in Early Childhood Education, so I understand their developmental needs and have a natural ability to connect with just about all of my youngest clients. Part of my job is to establish rapport and trust. Part of your job is to let them be silly and have fun. There is no pressure for kids to be on their best behavior, and sometimes allowing us to step away from the group where I have the chance to work one-on-one for a few minutes with your child makes all the difference.

I have this blank wall in my house that I want to decorate with our session images, but I don't have the eye for this kind of thing. Can you help? Absolutely! I love helping design custom wall galleries that showcase images from your session. Upon request, I will come to your home and we'll use a sophisticated app that will allow you to see exactly how your images will look on your wall space. Design service is complimentary with a minimum purchase of $250 in wall art.

I love the idea of a session in my home, but my house is a disaster! How will it work?

Before the session, we'll discuss which rooms we may want to take photos. It's entirely up to you if you want to tidy up those spaces or leave as is. Ask yourself if the pile of clutter in the background or dirty dishes in the sink will distract you from enjoying a photo. If so, then you may want to tidy up. Other than that, there is no pressure to clean the house.

Why would I want you to create an album for us?

I'm so glad you asked! I believe that it is my job as your photographer to provide you with a finished product that tells your family story and gives you a tangible heirloom that will become part of your family history. Digital files have their place and value, but your family deserves to live in printed form. A high-quality, carefully designed album is the perfect keepsake that you can hold in your hands and flip through as you reminisce about your time together during the session. I believe albums are the most valuable keepsakes we can pass on to our children in years to come.

In addition, I have partnered with an album company who donates a significant portion of each album sale to Beautiful Together, an organization that aims to improve the quality of life of orphaned children in the United States and Africa as they wait for their forever families.
