Crazy in the Quarantine - April Photo Challenge

We knew it was coming, but it was still a shock to learn yesterday that schools will remain closed for the rest of the school year here in CA. So, I decided it was time to put some focus towards a creative project to keep us all engaged and inspired.

Introducing “Crazy in the Quarantine,” my version of a photo challenge for the month of April.⠀⠀

The rules are simple: share a photo based on your interpretation of the prompt each day. I'll share my photos and will offer tips and tricks along the way on using your phone camera to take these photos. I encourage you to take a photo each day, but if you can't, try to use a photo from the past few weeks when shelter in place began.

This is a crazy period of time and my hope is these photos will serve to help you 1) focus on a fun distraction, 2) learn a few new photography tips, and 3) document these unprecedented days.

We are collectively experiencing something so extraordinary right now, and I firmly believe that photography is an art that, when blended with social media, can bring people together and help us stay connected and inspired.
